How to make Maple-Glazed Cardamom Twists
Basic maple pie recipe
2 medium onions, finely chopped
1/2 cup of maple syrup
Salt and pepper to taste
flour (for work surface)
In a non-stick pan, sauté the onions in the maple syrup for 20 minutes or until caramelized.
Salt and pepper.
Spread the parchment paper on the baking sheet.
On a floured work surface, roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle 46 cm by 20 cm (18 by 8 inches).
Spread the onion mixture over one half of the surface, then fold the other half of the dough over the onions. Cut them into slices and roll them up.
